然而矛盾的是，在地球另一端的日本女性上班族，仍在對強制性工作中必須穿高跟鞋的命令作鬥爭。女性與腳後跟的複雜關係依然，這邊廂男性卻要為穿高跟鞋而作革命。事實是，時尚界今回的運動沒有表示對高跟鞋絕對認同，只是希望表達「自由」的願景——在任何時間任何性別，我們都有權選擇想穿的東西。
